EAST ASIAN GRAPHICS ARCHIVE
Co-founder
The East Asian Graphics Archive (EAGA) is an archive of contemporary graphic design made by creatives, studios, and brands from across East Asia and the diaspora.
Using community-based archival methods that challenge the Western notion of archive as institution, the EAGA aims to preserve the richness of East Asian visual cultures and heritages through curation. In doing so, the Archive strives to interrogate and celebrate the intertwined legacies of the region’s design landscapes, while cultivating a broader appreciation of trailblazing graphic, typographical, and artistic practices from across East Asia.

The EAGA team sources all featured ephemera from various digital and print media sources, and publishes all pieces in the form of thematic collections. All artworks featured in the EAGA are:
➀ Graphic art, including but not limited to digital art, computer graphics, typography, and print;
➁ Designed by an individual who claims ancestry or heritage in an East Asian country (China, Japan, the Koreas, or Taiwan) or created by or for a studio/agency/brand located in an East Asian country; and
➂ Made in the contemporary age.
To date, we have curated 5 collections across an array of seasonal and cultural themes.
